About this Neighborhood
Tucked inside Adams Morgan two miles north of the White House, Lanier Heights is one of D.C.'s early planned subdivisions turned buzzing food quarter. Keren Restaurant, Rose Ave Bakery and Hana Japanese Market lead an enormous 88-restaurant spread rated a 4.8 on Yelp, with taquerias and cocktail bars filling the streets. Eighteen groceries and 12 coffee shops make daily life dense and convenient, and 11 parks give the neighborhood its green seams. Between the cafes, bakeries and Mexican spots, there's always another reason to stay out a little longer.
